Glaswegian singer-songwriter Pete MacLeod, releases today his second album Crestfallen. The hypnotic set of widescreen Balearic indie rock showcases his soulful vocals, dense electronica soundscapes and talent for anthemic choruses. Touring Europe, the UK and USA he now decided to re-invent his sound, without sacrificing his gift for everyman melodies. The ten tracks on Crestfallen are built around atmospheric synths and keyboards rather than jangling guitars, with propulsive beats. It’s an album of finely crafted songs custom built for both a hazy summer sunrise and the dance floor the night before. For the likes of The Verve, Richard Ashcroft and Primal Scream.
