Ever, is the debut album by Greek duo A.Michalopoulos & G.Kiriakidis, rich in electronic and chill textures, cool guitar licks and vocal samples from Breaking Bad, Charlie Chaplin and Easy Rider. It’s a trip-hop, downtempo digital reverb that encapsulates Thessaloniki’s vibes a hometown or present town must I say for both of us this moment. Even from El Gato’s album artwork, you can link all acoustic dimensions with physical objects and emotional parameters. They are on a root for a second album so be sure to check out their unique atmosphere. As true impressionists of the indietronica-chilltronica scene, I’m sure they have more experiences for our ears in the near future.
