Goldroom has released the second track from his upcoming music project in 2019. Yellow Flowers comes in electronic spring contrasts, returning you to the vibes of a packed summer dancefloor. Josh Legg turns up the discotheque lights for every clubbed out future wave of happiness. Smooth vocal bursts come from long-time collaborator Mereki and splashes of nu-disco turn into tropical house. It’s a feel-good vibe no doubt! Once the track has built up a mild Daft-Punk-esque flow, it magically produces on autopilot a pink dreamy glow of love. Everyone is cheering and dancing… It is a timeless comfort zone!
I first fell in love with dance music through the lense of Daft Punk, Fred Falke, and the rest of the early French House pioneers. Through sampling myself, Yellow Flowers is the song that helped me to rediscover that feeling of wonder and possibility in my own music.
