It’s a first for Ezhevika with a track featured on give it a spin. From what I flipped through, the fantastic record label based in Minsk, Belarus focuses on highly skilled underground art. And that’s just our style!
On the roster, Russian based Stayhomie just released a fresh single Happy Today, Sad Tomorrow from the EP “Year Of No Answers“. Described as ultramelodism with a patchwork of voice samples, vintage synthesizers and a Roland 808, we get that inner feeling for a future beats thumbs up.
There are some minimalist flavours when it comes to miraculously choppin’ and sowing it all together. Going a little bit further down the rail-tracks you are enlightened by “Sorry, Girl“! Imagine synth waves brushing on your window making up for all the times’ things went wrong. The progression is so balanced vocals-tune, it turns up a notch, in the end, in a crazy good way, such a treasure!
Overall, lustful, marshmallow beats and a hot talent right in front of our ears Stayhomie is our new homie. The playfulness, sweet melancholy and free-spirits are on the beat line. Listen to the whole album, and download/support it any way you can! It’s not every day I get a track and start talking about the project!
You can find the track also on the latest Ezhevika IV Miracle comp and please take your time to discover more artists along the way!
