Combine a reverence for classic-driven indie with some rock’n’roll, add a smidge of sardonic sense of humor and you have what defies easy categorization, the band Gold Stars For Everyone.
Packing house parties at Brooklyn, performing outdoors at the Grand Canyon and everywhere in-between, en route to establishing themselves as one of the most unpredictable acts in the genre. Gold Stars For Everyone come bearing some sweet overdriven guitars, funky rock chops, a super talented vocalist (Pedro Danger), and heavy drum n bass to complete the band.
Shadowlove, released on October 31, 2021, is a really energetic song, packed with great vocals, solo guitar responses, a really catchy melody, and a groove for ages. It’s one of these songs you’d listen to at a big festival and would not want to keep your feet down on the ground.
The quartet being Pedro Danger, Bobby Garramone, Bryan Langlotz, and Victor Vildosola, along with a rotating cast of collaborators, is set to create a sound that is as thought-provoking as danceable and to be fair, I feel like they’re on the right track.
