Mined released his new single “Mistakes” through Peacefrog Records, taken from forthcoming EP Loves Low’s. Feel the dance-able tension of the track with your own eyes, below. Born to a Ghanaian family in Tooting (London), the philomath and Molecular biologist Mined was given eight names at birth. We unravel today, his musical identity.
Mistakes is a rich electronic confession. “Written as an apology, the whole EP is about a relationship that has since broke down” says Kofi Holmes. Feelings are undisguised and there is a sense of melancholy and nostalgia through his tracks gravitating towards the tranquility of James Blake, Caribou and Boards of Canada. The British electronica landscape has a Mined of it’s own, at last!
