Listening to The Way, brought back some memories like I was in one of my favorite books of sir Blyton “The Enchanted Wood” on a Faraway music tree…. oh, how music wakes up the senses!
The doomy-folk/alternative/cinematic mysterious track can be found on their outstanding debut album We Come From The Stars via label Integrity Records. The cathartic melody throughout leans on Eivør’s vocals (Game of Thrones, God of War) whilst Maria Malmoe is also mighty shape-shifting the vocal journey through this mythical synergy of battling harmonies. The thematic of the song while watching the official video, is quite mind-blowing. Choreographed by Laura Feline Ebbesen and filmed by Michelle Berg and Stinna Skrivergaard reflecting the tribal vibe and Maria’s inspiration for writing it. Froths of diametric and astral tension eventually bring an alternative bright sky to a godly peaceful zone of the music, take a breath now.
