Born and raised on jazz, funk, soul, disco, house and hip-hop in Bucharest, Romania, Andrei started The Legendary 1979 Orchestra in 2010, when his passion for all things deep was bursting to materialize. Whenever he can set aside his addiction to vinyl purchases, he produces lush musical arrangements that blend the emotion of deep house with the infectious grooves of disco. As the name states, his biggest inspiration is found in the 1979 state of mind. Andrei is currently living in Utrecht, Netherlands, pursuing his mission to make and play music that moves mind, body and soul.
