Channel Swimmer – Look Up Paradise

Channel Swimmer’s track Look Up Paradise shows off a beautiful, sample-laden sunshine vibe reminiscent of Avalanches and Washed Out. It’s a gorgeous music video, culled from Miami tourism promos from the 80s and 90s, to mesh with the sun-tinged nostalgia of the track itself. There isn’t a better way to start our musical August. Follow Channel Swimmer on Facebook and Twitter.

People’s Champs – No Prisoners

No Prisoners is a reimagined version of Hostages from People’s Champs debut album American Dreamers. It’s a spectacular retro 80s synth, Afro-groove and sums up to the perfect summer jam! There is a hidden message in the lyrical bottle, People’s Champs riff on the words of Persian poet Hafiz, urging listeners not to hold themselves hostage. Follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Because you can leave but I won’t wait
