Milo’s harmonic soul tapestries inject the tunes with hi-octane talent!
“Paradise” is the latest track from 21 year old RnB/Funk/Soul singer, saxophonist and producer Milo Tain. Coming from Liverpool UK and influenced by the likes of Roy Ayers, D’Angelo and Marvin Gaye, his sound is reminiscent of classic 90’s RnB but with his own unique style expressed through his writing, saxophone playing and producing.
The track is described as ‘the darker side of Funk”, Paradise is a song of rebellion influenced by Artists such as The Brothers Johnson,Thundercat and Prince. Paradise addresses police brutality, escapism and black lives matter as a song of current cultural importance. Its context shows the other side of Milo Tain’s songwriting ability, resonating a personal issue with the listener as it moves away from the obviously provocative ‘The Look’.
Paradise is
introduced with a classic G-Funk style bass hook and a funky guitar
line. When the dreamy vocal harmonies are heard the tone is set for
Milo’s story. The strong beat and groovy melodies hold the pace, keeping
the track energised right until the explosive chorus at the end.

Since gaining attention after releasing his debut single and covers of his influences, Milo Tain has
been performing around Leeds at various events, gigs and parties. He
recently performed at the popular Re:Soul sessions and is set to release
live videos via On’t Sofa in March 2016.
