New Age Doom – Acoustolectric Invocation

Order & chaos; the building blocks of the universe. Rising from the sun/ sea comes the fruition of life as we know it, ever-evolving, straight through to the tumult of today. New Age Doom’s newest creation, ‘Acoustolectric Invocation’, evokes these vulnerable, but willfully intrepid emotions – the pondering of creation & destruction; the cycle of birth & death.

Musically reminiscent of audial architects ranging from Lightning Bolt to Moondog, the drums/ percussion guide each movement as a compass on an exploration, while a battalion of synthesizers/ some-such-noises blazes paths through the most extreme of conditions, discovering territories yet untouched by humankind. This is high art, the likes of which one may find difficult to locate, in these times of many grids & recycled samples.

While a writer could boast PR credits like ‘featuring members of David Bowie’s Blackstar band, Sloan, Limblifter, & Donny McCaslin’ or ‘true master musicians reach radiant new heights’, I will say just this: ‘The path for a listener should be: find your finest speakers; lend yourself a moment of peace; dive in headfirst.’

And we are only yet at the beginning – a new album is on the way – follow further here:
