To Be Free, by The Indiana Drones feels like the 1960s Batman TV show, met Quentin Tarantino, then met Nirvana and a computer, and all together came to this piece of great music.
The Indiana Drones coming from Ontario, Canada, are an alt-rock band with a unique sound that derives from the past but aims straight to the future.
Drums and bass are the main elements here, driving the song while the amazing vocals come to hug the track and make it a solid block of awesome music.
The hook feels a bit like a more rock(y) version of Imagine Dragons and the rest of the song could easily be a coalition between The Hives and Neal Hefti (the composer behind the iconic Batman Soundtrack).
The song instantly gets you vibing, if it were included in a movie or a video game, it would be in the scene where you’re chasing the villain, performing cool stunts in slow motion.
Really enjoyed this and hopefully, you will too.
